Before you pick a course

Which course should I start with?

It depends on the gap you're closing. For testing, the order that works is Testing with xUnit in C#, then Writing Testable Code, then Test-Driven Development. For AI-assisted work, Getting Started: Claude Code comes before Deep Dive: Claude Code. Clean Code in C# stands on its own.

Are these courses free?

No. The courses are paid and hosted on Dometrain, which handles pricing and checkout. Current prices and any bundles live there, not here. What's free: the blog, the YouTube channel and the weekly newsletter.

What's the difference between the courses and the workshops?

Courses are pre-recorded and self-paced on Dometrain, so you start whenever you want. Workshops are live, hands-on and scheduled, in formats from half a day to a two-day intensive. The outlines and the public dates are at guiferreira.me/workshops. A team booking one privately goes through Black Lab Studios.

Who are these courses for?

.NET and C# developers who can already ship features and want the craft underneath. Courses marked Beginner assume you know C# syntax and go from there. The two Claude Code courses are the exception. They're not tied to .NET and suit any developer adopting an AI coding agent.

How long are the courses?

Most run between four and six hours of video, split into short lessons you can take one at a time. The outlier is Let's Build It: URL Shortener in .NET, which is 16h 46m because it builds and deploys a real project. Every course page here lists its exact runtime and level.
